The Broken Binding is the UK-based company publishing and selling Science Fiction and Fantasy books. At the moment they’ve got three book subscriptions that are Fantasy, Science Fiction and SF&F.
Fantasy Subscription concentrates on modern series with authors still alive, is monthly, and has two tiers. Tier 1 is 1500 subscribers and books there are signed and numbered. Sometimes some additional items are provided, like, for example, art pieces or maps. Tier 2 is unsigned and unnumbered and we don’t know how many people are in the subscription. Science Fiction Subscription has only one tier and isn’t concentrated on still living authors. It’s bimonthly. The selection of the books for the subscription is outstanding though, you can check them here.
SF&F Subscription is relatively new (started in September 2025), and so far is bimonthly, but in July 2026 it will become monthly. It’s concentrating on new releases and sometimes is even signed. It is a traditional book box subscription without revealing the title, but only announcing the overall theme of the book. TBB does really good job making titles of upcoming books obvious, so we don’t need to be disappointed. The list of released books in the subscription is here.
